Travelling is freedom - Basti┬┤s global journeys

Cambodia is a country with a troubled past: in the 1970s the Khmer Rouge carried out a genocide against its own people, reducing the population by one third. Until today the repercussions of this massacre can be seen and felt throughout the country. Nevertheless it seems as if Cambodia┬┤s young are trying to leave the past behind and rather embark on a more prosper future. Apart of its vibrant capital, we also visited the Tonle Sap lake with its floating villages as well as UNESCO world heritage temples of Angkor.
