Travelling is freedom - BastiĀ“s global journeys

South America

The only thing most South-American countries have in common is the Spanish language and a colonial history. Apart of this, every single country has its own identity, landscapes and cuisine: more European and cold on the southern tip, the people and the temper get hotter and hotter the more north you travel along the ever-present Andean mountain range. Vulcanoes, deserts and glaciers give way to jungle and tropical animals.
